1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, playing in guest mode, joining via web party link, or downloading the mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not enter the arena.

2. Competitive Integrity & Anti-Cheat Policy

Plot Armor uses automated server-side anti-cheat heuristics (analyzing sub-180ms reaction anomalies, ADB hardware bridges, and answer pattern entropy). Any attempt to inject scripts, intercept WebSocket payloads, decompile client contracts, or exploit network latency will result in immediate, irreversible hardware and IP bans.

3. Virtual Currency & Cosmetic Goods

Jade gems, Spirit Stones, and Cliché Shards are virtual gameplay tokens with zero real-world cash equivalence. All cosmetic unlocks (auras, outfits, pedestals, and title plates) are licensed non-transferable virtual items. Chargebacks or fraudulent payment disputes will trigger automatic account quarantine and Jade balance revocation.

4. Streamer & User-Generated Content

Streamers hosting 200-player custom lobbies are responsible for maintaining a civil atmosphere in chat. Community dilemma submissions in the UGC portal become part of the collective narrative pool under a non-exclusive license upon approval by studio moderation.

5. Subscriptions & Purchases

Plot Armor offers optional purchases through the Apple App Store and Google Play: the Protagonist and Host subscriptions, the seasonal Plot Pass, the Trope Bank, and Cliché Shard packs. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown when you subscribed, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep the benefits until the end of the period already paid for.

The Plot Pass applies to the season in which it is bought and does not renew. Subscriptions and the Plot Pass are separate products: a subscription does not include the Plot Pass unless the app says so at the time of purchase.

6. Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not by us, and refunds are handled under their policies. To request one, use Apple's “Report a Problem” page or your Google Play order history. Where a refund is granted, the items or currency it paid for may be removed from your account.

7. Advertising

The game shows optional rewarded ads and occasional ads between matches. Watching a rewarded ad is always your choice. Ads never change the outcome of a match. Subscribers are not shown ads between matches.

8. Conduct, Chat & Reporting

Usernames, guild names, guild chat messages and submitted questions must not be abusive, hateful, sexual, or unlawful, and must not impersonate others. You can report a player, a guild or a message from inside the app, and you can block a player. We review reports and may remove content, mute, rename, suspend or permanently close accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

9. Your Account

You may play as a guest or link an Apple, Google or Discord account to keep your progress. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings in the app or from the Delete Account page on this site. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.

10. Age

Plot Armor is intended for players aged 12 and older. If you are under the age at which you can agree to these Terms where you live, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf. Younger players get restricted chat and non-personalised ads.

11. Availability, Changes & Liability

We work to keep the game available and fair, but it is provided as is, without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error free. Game content, balance, rewards and prices may change, and seasons end. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the game. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app. Continuing to play after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
